If a buggy game breaks in our house, the missus calls it a ‘goat’, for example. She never really forgave the GBA version of the original for leaving her high and dry halfway through.
Here, though, is a tidy and faithful iteration for fans of the old bird, and whilst that goes in its favour, it also works against it. In light of the Fables and Walking Dead games lately, the whole point and click genre has undergone something of a renaissance, and leaves BS feeling a little anachronistic. It’s still good, though, if you don’t mind waiting for the second half…
