Keep on Stepping On

WestonA local Sheffield company is taking to our city streets this Saturday (18th July) to raise money for Weston Park Cancer Hospital. Local marketing agency MB Advertising have been showing their support of the charity for the last decade and this is their annual fundraising event for 2015. Company employees will be bringing their friends and family and Weston Park volunteers as they will be walking a 3-legged race. Sounds simple enough, right? Wrong. Setting off from Weston Park Hospital, they’ll be bound together in brightly coloured boiler suits stitched together and trekking 20 miles to their goal whilst visiting various hot spots around the city before finishing at the hospital once again. Such a gruelling task would seem pointless if it weren’t for it raising funds to support Weston Park, donations from the public will be taken on the day to sponsor these brave (?) individuals on their quest. They’d like as many people to possible to get involved, if you’re keen on helping out please call Mick Allsop on 07967 633069 to get in on the action on the day. If the hard slog isn’t your thing, you can donate on their Just Giving page (https://www.justgiving.com/20-MILE-10-HOUR-THREE-LEGGED-WALK/). Below is the list of times and locations of where they’ll be, check it out and show your support!
