Mad Max – (PS4/Xbone)

Mad-MAxMad Max has been sailing under many people’s radar since it has been announced, ourselves included. And, because of this, it has emerged as a gem of a game, easily breaking the top five of licensed games that are actually any good.

The wasteland is expansive and unlike games such as Assassins Creed, it needs to be, as you are playing a survivor in a desert with scant resources. Combat is satisfying and can be incredibly fluid, even with a large group of enemies. Best of all are the road battles; ramming, sideswiping, using explosives and limited shotgun shells to destroy enemies never gets tiring.

Some small elements of the game can be a little repetitive, but not enough for us to not thoroughly recommend this excellent game.
