Geez, Corp wasn’t half full. An achievement at the weekend, the fact the Big Cheese tour managed to pack out the venue on a rainy Monday night certainly spoke volumes about the level of talent on show.
We’ve been fans of Allusondrugs at the magazine for some time now and the five piece returned to the city with more energy and vigour than ever. With Reading and Leeds slots under their collective belt and the likes of NME and Kerrang sniffing around, it won’t be long until they get the recognition they work tirelessly to attain. Lonely The Brave impressed and had the whole crowd vying for shoulder space in order to throw their hands up to the emotionally driven lyrics and powerful guitar lines. This act are proof that rock is alive and well.
Marmozets have enjoyed a fine year thus far, their explosive brand of alt rock shook Corp and the crowd right from the very first note of their explosive set. After a show like that Marmozets proved they are certainly weird, most definitely wonderful and will undoubtedly feel the burn of spotlights for a while to come.
