The night opened with State Champs and Lost For Words, and, unfortunately, the atmosphere was dull for both bands.
However, as The Wonder Years took to the stage the venue was rocking. People jumping around, singing the lyrics and enjoying themselves just like a Pop-Punk gig should be. I was very impressed by frontman Dan Campbell who controlled the crowd like some magician. When he told the crowd to jump, they bloody jumped, when he told them to sing they obliged with equal verve. Although he was losing his voice towards the end of the set, I still thought his vocals were pretty solid. Credit to be rest of the outfit too, who were terribly energetic. A terrific sight indeed.
